Environmental policy

As walkers, swimmers and surfers, we appreciate the beautiful natural environment here in Cornwall and elsewhere we travel. It’s important to us to attempt to keep our environmental impact to a minimum and this is reflected in the tips and advice we give in the content on this website.

We’ve also done our utmost to reduce the environmental impact of producing this website. Most of our energy comes from solar panels, while the remaining comes from clean energy sources through our electricity supplier. All trips made for research and content gathering for this website are made on foot, by bike or in an electric car, which is powered by solar panels for much of the year.

We’ve also done our best to reduce the carbon load of this website by creating fast-loading pages, with tightly optimised code and images for efficient, low carbon presentation to our users. The website is also hosted on certified eco web hosting, on solar powered, carbon neutral servers in the United Kingdom.

We strive to be as green as possible in our lives and inspire others to do the same through the content on this site.
